The Ginestraio pays homage to the broom, a sunny and highly fragrant flower that thrives among the vineyards of Usiglian del Vescovo. It is a wine with an elegant character and a floral aroma; thanks to its unique personality, it lends itself to surprising pairings.
VINIFICATION
The hand-picked grapes are transported to the cellar, where after careful selection, they are destemmed and crushed.
The must is clarified and then started with fermentation. After aging for about 6 months, it is bottled and then reaches your glasses.
TASTING NOTES
Intense yellow color with brilliant gold and green hues. Very fruity on the nose with notes of peach, apricot, linden, and acacia. Very soft structure and medium body on the palate.
The finish is fresh, clean, and of good persistence.
PAIRINGS
It pairs well with pasta dressed with extra virgin olive oil and cheese or with a light tomato sauce, white truffle from San Miniato, elaborate fish dishes, and medium-aged cheeses.
